Flex-e-card offers a range of shipping options that you can select depending on the urgency, value, and number of gift cards in your order. For orders placed and approved before 11am we will aim to ship on the same day (during busy periods dispatch times may be longer). Orders placed after 11am will be dispatched the following business day.
Royal Mail state that they aim to deliver 93% of 1st Class mail the next working day after posting but they are unable to provide a guaranteed service. This delivery can take up to 5 working days. For a guaranteed next day delivery Royal Mail recommend Special Delivery.
The cost and features of each shipping option are as follows:
First Class Postage (£2.99)
During peak periods this can take up to 5 working days. There is no compensation and no proof of delivery will be sought by Royal Mail. This includes shipping of 1 card. Additional cards will be charged at an additional 50p per card. This cost covers the fulfilment, postage and packaging of the product.
Recorded Delivery (£3.99)
During peak periods this can take up to 5 working days. There is no compensation but a signature will be requested by Royal Mail as proof of delivery. This includes shipping of 1 card. Additional cards will be charged at an additional 50p per card.
Special Delivery (£8.49)
Royal Mail aim to deliver by 1pm the next working day. There is compensation of up to £500 and the package will be tracked and a signature requested by Royal Mail as proof of delivery. This includes shipping of 1 card. Additional cards will be charged at an additional 50p per card.
Courier service (£19.99)
Ideal for bulk or business shipping the package will be delivered the next business day. This includes shipping of up to 500 cards. An additional 500 cards can be delivered and will be charged at an additional £8.99. There is no compensation but the package is tracked and a signature will be requested by the courier service.
Important Information about shipping your order
Please note that Gift Cards and other products purchased from Flex-e-card using a credit or debit card will only be dispatched to the address registered with the payment card issuer unless the Send direct to recipient option is selected.
During the order process you will be provided with details of the delivery methods that are available for your order along with the costs of each method. Please read the information regarding each delivery method as the delivery charges will be different for each method and certain restrictions in the timing of deliveries and compensation will apply.
Please note that if goods are lost in transit you will only be eligible for a replacement under certain circumstances. If you are in any doubt about the level of compensation that applies to each delivery method please carefully review the information displayed on the website before placing your order. You may also contact us and we will provide you with the details of each delivery method and the cover that applies. Please note: the selection of the desired delivery method is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and Flex-e-card accepts no liability in respect of any direct or indirect loss consequential or otherwise if an unsuitable or incorrect delivery method is selected or if the carrier fails to deliver the product according to the agreed schedule whether or not any verbal or written advice was provided.
If you do not receive the products that you have ordered please contact us and we will do our best to assist you in tracing the missing delivery. If the goods are deemed to be lost in transit and the delivery method that you selected provides for compensation flex-e-card will provide a replacement and will make a claim to the carrier to recoup the cost of the replacement.
